Razan Wirjosandjojo

Razan Wirjosandjojo was born in Jakarta, 1998. He started dancing by learning hip-hop in 2010, then he joined Gigi Art of Dance in 2015, where he learned the foundations of jazz, ballet, and modern dance. In 2017, Razan moved to Solo and continued his study in Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta, majoring in dance.

Razan has been involved in several productions under various artists, such as; Melati Suryodarmo, Rianto, Lee Mingwei, and others. Razan has started digging deeper in his own artistic process and started creating his own dance and performance works; HIDOEP BAROE (2020), If There Was A Chance To (2020), Lalu (2020) dan Fajar Di Ufuk Barat (2021) Razan has been working with text and information of past events as his mirror to perceive the present day event. Razan processes historical text and information as his guide to read the structure of the environment that have become a part of his life.

In 2021 Razan created a short film, Sweating Rocks, for A_PART.
